Number 1 Question

I am so excited about starting and keeping up with our new blog. As I said before, I am a beginner, so be patient with me. Don't you just love our new background? Don't be too impressed with me, my sweet friend, Amy did it for me! Thanks so much, Amy!! I LOVE IT!!!!
We posted some of the pictures we took this weekend when we went to see Becky and the baby. This time we got pictures of Deacon with his eyes open! He was so alert and happy!
Becky is doing great as a new mommy! She needs some more rest and needs to take care of herself better, but what new mom doesn't? It will take some time to get used to the new schedule and demands of a new baby. She is a wonderful mom and we are so proud of her!
This was the first time the kids got to see Deacon and you can tell by the sweet pictures that they all fell in love with him immediately! It is hard being so far away from all of them. We are trying to build a relationship Justin's daughter, Alexa as well so she will know her new grandparents...isn't she a cutie! Needless to say, we need as much time as possible to soak these precious kids up! We are praying for God to help us balance our schedule so we can spend as much time with all of them as possible.
My time is short as usual, but I thought I would answer the one question that everyone continues to ask us..."How does it feel to be grandparents?" I can honestly say that it feels amazing! When you see that precious child, you forget about everything else. Suddenly, the circumstances don't matter, our age doesn't matter, what we are going to be called doesn't matter. All that matters is that God has blessed us with another precious life and He gave us all the love we need to pour out on him and everyone else that He has placed in our lives. It's because of His love for us that we are able to do that. Let's all make the most of every opportunity to love one another! We are truly blessed!
